In 1994, Gene and Susan joined Keller Williams Realty in its early days. Over the next two decades, they became cornerstones of the company’s growth—owning six market centers, launching the Northern California & Hawaii Region, and leading offices that consistently ranked among the most profitable in the nation. Gene was celebrated for his leadership, earning recognition as a Top Recruiter and induction into the Team Leader Hall of Fame.
But their most pivotal decision came in 2015. After carefully reviewing a little-known brokerage with a revolutionary, cloud-based model, Gene and Susan made the life-changing choice to sell their offices and regional stake to join eXp Realty. That step of faith helped propel eXp from an ambitious startup into one of the fastest-growing real estate companies in the world, creating generational wealth-building opportunities for agents and redefining the future of the industry.
Today, Gene is widely regarded as one of real estate’s most influential visionaries. He and Susan continue to work side by side, speaking at events, mentoring agents and leaders worldwide, and empowering others to step into their potential.
Family and faith remain at the heart of everything they do. Married since 1995, Gene and Susan are proud parents of five children and grandparents to ten grandchildren. Their home in Puerto Rico serves as both a peaceful retreat and a hub of inspiration for the countless agents and entrepreneurs they continue to influence.
